How to restrict the schedule of your voice calls

Who likes to get called in the middle of the night with the question if he/she would like to donate to Oxfam? Nobody, I think.  Not only will this frustrate people, it will also promote a negative connotation with your brand.

To prevent this from happening, we do have an extra failsafe for you. To implement this:

  1. Open Voice API
  2. Go to “Settings”
  3. Go to “General”
  4. Configure the schedule as needed
  5. Click “Save”

Now, even when you initiate a voice call in the middle of the night, it will not go out, unless allowed by your restrictions. Now you and your customers can sleep easy.


Please note that if you do not configure any opening hours the standard opening time will be used: 08:00-22:00 CET. If you want to be able to make calls outside of those hours you should also configure them.
