Keep your links short

We notice a lot of you are putting links into your message like "http://www.mycompany/lang/nl/docs/reporting-tutorial#how-to-group-data".  Obviously, this link will take up a lot of characters.  In most cases, you will exceed 160 characters, which means your messages will be spread over two or more messages.  Seeing as you pay per message, it is cost effective AND user friendly to keep your links short.

We recommend using a service like http://www.bitly.com  They can have that previous link look like "http://bit.ly/2jVd7Wk"

Be careful when you use parameters in your link, like "http://www.mycompany.com?Profile=Dennis".  Parameters cannot be shortened out of the box.  However, here is an interesting article about using UMT Parameters with bitly: https://bitly.com/blog/harnessing-the-power-of-utm-parameters-with-bitly/

I hope this article will save you time, money and make it easier on your recipients.  Good luck!
