Adding a location to your message is a great way to make sure people find you when they have an appointment with you.
SMS is a limited to text. With RCS, in the future, we will be able to add all different kinds of media, including google maps, to our message. However, did you know that there is an easy way to add a map to your location via SMS?
Simply follow these steps:
1) go to http://https://www.google.be/maps
2) Search for your location
3) Now you have a long link: https://www.google.be/maps/place/Culliganlaan+2F,+1831+Machelen/@50.8841301,4.4490502,17z/data=!3m1!4b1!4m5!3m4!1s0x47c3dce2c5b93c7b:0x31b1b420fa0669ae!8m2!3d50.8841301!4d4.4512389 Too long to input in a text message, right?
4) Go to https://bitly.com/
5) Copy paste your long link into the textbox and click "Shorten link"
6) The result will be something like https://bit.ly/2R6m0sP Copy paste that link into your text message
