How to restrict message content or numbers to agents

Privacy is important in today's data driven digital world.  You might want to put some restrictions on what your agents can see in Message Insight.  An agent is a role, like admin or supervisor.  You can change the role of a user in the user administration, if you are an admin yourself.

To limit what your agent can see, open Message Insight and go to "Settings".  You will see this screen:


You can choose to limit the amount of characters your agent can see from the message, or you can choose to hide the phonenumber, except the last two digits, or do both.

We especially recommend this when you know that the contents of the messages are very sensitive, like one time passwords.  Admins and supervisors will always be able to see all the content.
