Mail status codes

In several area's, like Email Square or User Management, you will see the status of a certain mail.

Here is an overview of what those statuses mean:

Status Description
   
Processed  We have received the request and sent it to the email provider
Delivered We received confirmation from the email provider that the mail was delivered
Opened We received the confirmation from the email provider that the end-user has opened the mail
Clicked We received the confirmation from the email provider that the end-user has clicked on one of  the links in the mail
Sent We have sent the mail to the email provider
Deferred The mail is on hold at the email provider and will be handled later
Bounced The mail was refused by the email operator
Dropped The email provider has dropped the email when the contact on that email is in one of your suppression groups, the recipient email previously bounced, or that recipient has marked the email as spam.
